1. Monday June 8 – Sticker Day   
2. Tuesday, June 9 ‐ Lobby Legislator
1. Post pics with other staff
2. Distribute to parents
3. Distribute to PTO/PTA/School Council others
4. You don't have to wait until Tuesday  
5. Call legislator
6. Attend local or regional event.
3. Wednesday, June 10 – Social Media Day  
1. Twitter storm
1. Hashtags
2. Legislator Twitter accounts
3. Sample tweets
2. Tweet for followers
3. FB posting: caption a picture or hold a sign
4. Twibbon Campaign – change profile picture on Facebook
5. DESE PARCC Forum at Bridgewater S.U.   
4. Thursday, June 11 – Hearing Date
1. Attending Hearing 10 a.m. in State House (BEA has Association day)
2. MTA reimburse local for sub cost.  
3. Gather at MTA before going to State House for briefing and materials .
1. Ashburton Place, Boston.  Go to the 5th floor.  We open at 9:00. a.m.
2. If a local can fill a bus, MTA will reimburse for bus costs.
4. Not attending hearing
1. Group pic outside school – email to legislator (could be same as sticker day)
2. Attend an event in your area – a listing will be available on the MTA website
3. Local may issue press release and members can send letters to the editor.
