Reclaiming Public Education Forums held throughout Massachusetts, MTA members have said they are ready to act to improve conditions in our schools. Bargaining is an important tool in creating the schools our students, educators and communities deserve. Leaders of successful bargaining and organizing efforts in Portland, St. Paul and Chicago will share their experiences.

Topics will include: 

• Creating organizing structures that work at the building level. 
• Forging coalitions that strengthen union power. 
• Bringing big issues that members care about to the bargaining table. 
• Putting all the pieces together to build an effective contract campaign.
